Funcom announced the release of much anticipated and greatly delayed pvp patch. many new changes and in light of Warhammer Online's almost simultaneous release one has to wonder about the timing of that patch. Anyway, the patch looks to be an improvement and provide some much needed pvp love. PVP leveling system and new pvp gear sets in particular will motivate people to go hack one another up in Hyboria. At launch, There will be three basic kinds of servers to play on.
PvE: PvE (or player-versus-environment) servers focus largely on players fighting against computer-controlled monsters and characters, with PvP limited to areas set aside expressly for that purpose.
PvP: PvP (or player-versus-player) servers have more widespread PvP rulesets, encouraging players to fight against each other.
